Glen Helen

It was the final round of the 2007 AMA MX Nationals, and Hepler pulled out a 4th overall on a long, rough track with a 5-5.

Getting off to a 3rd-place start in moto 1, a mistake sent him off the track and back to 7th. He quickly settled into 5th by the moto's end. In moto 2, Hepler's ride was strong and consistent, landing him another 5th-place finish.

Broc would like to thank all of his fans for all the support! Keep coming out to the races, and be sure to watch for Broc on the podium in the SX Lites.

Freestone MX

It was the first time the AMA Motocross Nationals came to the Freestone County Raceway in Texas, and it was Broc Hepler's best ride of the year.

Grabbing the hole shot in the first moto, Hepler settled into a comfortable second, but was overtaken on the last stretch and came away with third place. In moto 2, another fantastic start led to another third place finish, awarding Hepler with second overall, and his first overall podium for the year.

The series concludes next week in San Bernardino, CA at Glen Helen.

Steel City

Steel City
It was another up and down day for Hepler at his home track in Delmont, PA.

Qualifying 2nd in practice, Hepler's confidence showed in the first moto. He got off to a 2nd-place start and soon made the move to take the lead. A mistake a few laps later cost him a place, but he quickly made up for it and secured the lead once more, holding on for the moto win.

Moto 2 started off well as Hepler started 6th and easily passed up to 2nd, which is all he would have needed for the overall. Then back luck struck as a crash set him back to 7th, then another crash took him out of the running all together.

Next week the series travels to Texas for round 11.

Spring Creek MX

This past Saturday, Broc Hepler came away with a 5th overall in Millville, MN. Two mid-pack starts put Hepler in position to play catch-up in both motos.

In moto 1, he started outside the top 10 and worked his way into 5th by the end. Moto 2 was tougher, as Hepler started further back and passed up to a 7th place spot.

In 2 weeks, Broc will be racing at his hometown track as AMA Pro Motocross comes to Steel City Raceway in Delmont, PA -- August 25-26.

Washougal MX

This weekend brought both good and bad for Hepler as the factory Yamaha rider looked strong in both motos.

Getting a good start the first moto, Hepler passed his way into fourth place and stayed there for the checkers. Hepler took the early lead away from Ryan Dungey in the second moto, but dropped to third later in the race. It looked as if Hepler would hold on for a third-place finish, but bike problems forced him off the track. Hepler took a DNF.

Hepler and the rest of the AMA Pro Motocross riders will enjoy a weekend off, then it's to Millville, MN the following weekend for round 9 of the series.

Thunder Valley MX

With mid-pack starts in both motos, Broc Hepler raced hard to finish 10th overall at Thunder Valley MX. He placed 11th in the first moto and 12th in moto 2.

AMA Pro Motocross heads north this weekend -- July 28-29 -- to Washougal.
